It's really a chance to see future on my way 🎉🎉❤
Hell oooooo!❤😊🎉
3d printing is cost effective and that's a rule
Last but not least
Do we smoke into money 🤑?

👏👏👏👏👍
Dope! I’m a proud stockholder, keep up the great work Desktop Metal!
When we mass produce tires onto existing methods do you really think it is going to happen.
DM better stop burning through it's money or it's going out of business, regardless of how good it is.
No acid bath for debinding?
Proud shareholder here, I’ve been invested since prior to the SPAC merge and nothing could get me more excited than knowing 10% of my net worth is invested in Desktop Metal. Excited to go profitable in 2023 and watch this company grow into its full potential!
Camera companies should love this technology. I can see most all the components in cameras utilizing this AM Metal and Polymer technology.
The P-1 (or a P-50) should be in every technical school in this country. I believe there will be government and private Green grants that can be used to help make this a reality. This type of Green tech creates highly skilled jobs and is so much better for our planet - not to mention it brings back local manufacturing. Way to go Desktop Metal. This really is a Supply Chain Game Changer.
Well we Will take your business case and think without limitations 🎉
In appreciation
Great
Useless again.

I got to see this printer at MIT...awesome stuff! Thank you for your innovation/inspiration, GREAT video.
Great
Everyone now knows that Al Gore is a grifter. I like Ric and DM, but I can't watch this with that scumbag Gore on the stage 🤦♂️
Amazing
Can you make a highlight video of this somehow?
On my way! 11 year veteran. Have an associates of science. Just stared an associates for cadd then I want to take the MIT course.
@36:36 the camera-man made an easter egg for ya! (look at the BG) 😆 But, very cool video, especially enjoyed learning Ford's POV in regard to this topic, shows Ford is moving!
For the low low cost of literally one arm and a leg. . .
i am surprised that He did not talk about Precision Fermentation.
BUT IS IS WEAKER? I think yes and that means its trash

how to download live part, live sinter?
A promising investment. Disruptive in almost all industries. Strong buy, back up the truck.
DM is listed for 3.77 Billion Market Cap, with 4 employees. Are these the four?
They have close to 500 employees and counting. Buy DM stock with both hands and hold for the long term, exponential growth. You will look back and say why didn't I buy that stock!
@@mondavi14 its poop molded metal composiste will never be strong than cnc-ed metal components
@@DNautSun that's the kind of attitude everyone has against new technology. There are some applications where machining will be more applicable than AM, but AM quality will continue to improve and is already able to manufacture parts that machining could never create.
@@MRGO0OSE Duh I just watched that in the video are u dum?
@@DNautSun Oh good, glad you got it. You mentioned that AM parts are no good in your first reply, so I was politely disagreeing with you
Wait, I know that guy from now you know lol
Is it any different with topology optimization?
Ric Fulop knows what's up 🙏 Manufacturing for design 🙇
Fantastic
The chemical polution of the metal is a pretty obvious no-go . . .
5 hrs to print 100 parts at 5$ each =$500 ,..what is the price of this printer ? and cleaner ? and oven ?? and extra expenses. per build extra $500? per oven and cleaner? .. so you sell the parts you made that day for 2000$ at 20$ making 1000$ a day how much does it cost to lease all the equipment? if you know you will need to print 10 days a month and make at least $1000 per day that's 10K a month .. how much does it cost to lease all the equipment? 10k per month?
@Vlad Alexander - System like that are usually sold not typically leased - but that is what banks are here for - such systems are normal anywhere from 200 - 800k usd + consumables and service contracts on top

Cura Engine ? for the slicer ?
2500 MPa for the carbon fiber printer is impressive, you could probably build an high performance compound bow with it.
Some idiot below with no idea what how ip system work other than watch news spawn nonsense, is screaming his brain out. Still don’t think he know what ip desktop metal have.
Voxeljet high speed sintering and VX-IOB, desktop metal bidirectionnal jetting, xjet nanoparticle jetting and EOS laser profusion are the 5 main tech of the future of 3d printing for me.
Speaking as an avowed cheapskate, using low grade metal powder is Desktop Metal's trump card.
@@Veldtian1 Yes, they use ultrasounds to "liquefy" the powder, allowing it to flow properly.
@@Veldtian1 Metal injection moulding is here for decades. It's insane that the 3d printing industry is not using this very affordable powder.
@@Veldtian1 The powder is not only cheap, but it can be reused an infinite amount of time since the powder bed is cold and that the powder do not agglomerate.
Finally
The cost savings you've mentioned .. is it the material consumption only or the while process cost ?
this is really cool and looks super useful
